Barclay Morrison III

Barclay Morrison III received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins in 1992 and his M.S.E and Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994 and 1999, respectively. Currently an associate professor at Columbia's Biomedical Engineering Department, Prof. Morrison's work focuses on understanding the cellular, molecular, and metabolic effects of mechanical forces on the brain with an aim to develop novel treatments for traumatic brain injury. In 2006, he received the Kim Award for Student-Faculty Involvement from the Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.
