Current and future applications of BCIs

Brain-computer interfaces are realized with EEG, ECoG and spikes. These system are used for cursor control, avatar control, stroke rehabilitation, DOC assessment or cortical mapping to find the eloquent cortex. The talk will describe necessary hardware and software components for realizing these systems and will highlight recent research directions. Results from EU funded research projects from recoveriX, ComAware, RapidMaps and Vere will be presented.
